To support the provision of an effective HR service to people managers and employees in support of the strategic objectives of CA.

Main Activities

Working with the People Director to provide generalist HR support across the full employee lifecycle, along with developing and implementing HR policies and procedures. Using HR experience and specialist knowledge to resolve a wide range of employee relations and issues.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the People Director with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with employment law, best practice, and regulations.
  • Handle employee relations issues including resolving conflict.
  • Implementing investigations into allegations of a breach or breaches of company policies and procedures.
  • Providing legally compliant HR advice to Managers
  • Monitor sickness in line with company policy and providing management data as required.
  • Produce HR reports giving insight and identifying trends.
  • Attend employment law briefings to ensure knowledge is current and that policies remain legally compliant, and any advice provided.
  • Assist with requests for articles or training that has an employment law, employee relations element.

Person specification:

We are looking for someone who has experience in a similar HR role, with comprehensive knowledge of relevant HR processes, procedures, and legislation. Level 5 CIPD membership would be advantageous.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven practical HR experience.
  • Broad knowledge of employment law with a thirst to learn and share best practice.
  • Ability to prioritise and work unsupervised as required.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and written skills.
  • Excellent IT skills with proficiency in the use of Microsoft office, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
  • Driving Licence is essential as travel to other sites is required.
  • Previous experience of using Ciphr would be advantageous.
