Provide advice, guidance and support to Managers in the effective use of all HR policies and procedures.
Acting as first line support for all ER matters including but not limited to investigation, disciplinary, grievance, performance management, absence management (short and long term absence), whistleblowing and family friendly policies.
Undertaking Safeguarding Investigations. Ensuring that cases are taken through processes as
quickly as possible to minimise disruption in services and upset to employees.
Liaising with Mentor (legal advisors) on outcomes from investigations and discuss next steps. Ensuring that every case is logged with Mentor and advise followed.
Provide Safeguarding outcomes to CQC including identified learning outcomes. Email Safeguarding outcomes to Managers to ensure outcomes and learning are actioned.
Update the CQC notification tracker with action taken and learning outcomes.
Undertake DBS referrals in a timely manner.
Ensure HR and Employment Law knowledge is up to date and advice is given is in line with law and best practice.
Prepare all ER letters and send to Mentor to review.
HR Support in all Employee Relation cases.
Ensure all cases are actioned in a timely manner without any unreasonable delay
Provide training to managers where required to ensure confidence and competence in HR meetings/matters.
Ensure employees receive accurate and prompt HR support when requested
Ensure Managers feel supported and competent with HR processes.tions
CIPD Level 5 essential
Considerable experience in employee relations
Due to the nature of this post, a full UK driving licence is essential as is a willingness to
travel as and when required
Good employment law knowledge

Previous HR experience
Knowledge and understanding of HR within the health and social care sector is preferable
